Get paid to fly
the country.
We’re hiring pilots for utility-pole inspection across the continental U.S. No drone experience required. We provide the drone, the equipment, and the training. The one thing you need before starting is your FAA Part 107 certificate, and most people study for it in one to two weeks.
Paid per pole, from day one.
You’re paid for every completed utility pole, including during training. What you earn scales with your flight experience, the weather, and how difficult the terrain is.

This is travel-heavy, independent 1099 work. Contracts typically run one to two months before moving to the next project, and weather can occasionally pause work for a few days. Your first payment on a new contract usually arrives about two weeks after work begins, then payments run weekly, so we recommend having enough savings to cover your first few weeks comfortably. Most people who move on found they’d rather not spend months on the road or work as a contractor. The work itself is straightforward. If you enjoy travel, working independently, and getting paid for what you complete, this role fits well.
